Montreal light microscopy course 2012

Nüvü Camēras attended the 2012 edition of the Montreal Light Microscopy Course held at McGill University. Uniting graduate students, university professors, researchers and company representatives from the biomedical field, this course is widely regarded as a great success and enriching experience in learning about the wide spectrum of microscopy techniques in biomedical research.

A presentation was given by Nüvü Camēras to course attendees as part of a Lunch-N-Learn period entitled “EMCCD Cameras: Pushing the Limits of Low Light Biomedical Imaging”. The talk included an overview of modern digital imaging devices used in biomedical research and focused on the uses of EMCCD cameras for such applications.

SPIE Astronomical Telescopes & Instrumentation 2012

Nüvü Camēras, alongside the Canadian Space Agency and the University of Montreal, presented the most recent EMCCD developments and provided a wide spectrum of information regarding innovative EMCCD technology.

Olivier Daigle, Nüvü Camēras’ CTO held a presentation on his results characterizing the extreme sensitivity of the CCCP, while Tohoku University and the University of Sao Paulo presented different demanding applications requiring Nüvü Camēras’ top performance in EMCCD technology.

Biophysical Society 56th annual meeting

Single-molecule imaging results were presented alongside Dr. Paul Maddox of the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer. Nüvü Camēras’ EM N2, an innovative and highly sensitive EMCCD camera, was used to observe specific behaviours of cancerous cells.
